Interested in volunteering?

By joining the Salem Convention and Visitors Association (SCVA), a “Booster” volunteer is part of Salem’s official marketing team. Our team’s mission is to promote Salem as a leisure and meeting destination attracting visitors from the U.S. and abroad.

Volunteer Opportunities

Assisting visitors in the Official Salem Area Visitors Center
Assisting visitors at event informational tables
Prepare welcome packets that are distributed to event and convention visitors and delegates
Assisting with light administrative duties
Fulfill visitor information inquiries
Boost the Salem economy by serving as public relations representatives for the city and its attractions

Share and be “In the Know”!

Monthly meetings held at attractions in and around Salem help our Boosters to be among the first to know about community enhancements and events. Consider joining SCVA to show your enthusiasm about Salem, to become more involved with the community and to help enhance the livability and economy of our city.
